Launched in July 25 UpTheDing is a family run business dedicated to providing quality Ding merchandise.
As season ticket holders at Reading for over 20 years, we’ve enjoyed many highs and suffered a lot of lows along with our fellow Ding fans. We all know what its been like over the last couple of years but the new ownership has created a real sense of optimism and a belief that things really have turned and that we are on our way back!
One real positive during the recent ‘bad’ times has been the commitment and passion of the fanbase. Part of this has been the rise of the Ding as a nickname celebrating local identity, pride and loyalty for the team.
URZ will always be a rallying cry but ‘Up the Ding’ is becoming more and more a Reading ‘signature’, even being adopted by the new owners. Despite this there is no official Ding-brand and little Ding merchandise available. This is what inspired us to create uptheding.co.uk, a place where fans can purchase good quality Ding merchandise to show off their love for the Ding!
We’ve partnered with with UK-based print-on-demand specialists Inkthreadable in order to bring our customers eco-friendly, quality products with plastic-free packaging and we look forward to a long relationship with them.
All the product designs and website build are our own original work. Please have a browse around and see if anything takes your fancy.
We are not here to make our fortune, it’s more about filling a gap in the market, providing something new that we think fellow fans would appreciate and be proud to wear.
